Here is our criteria:
1. Has to be a boy name. Nothing that could also be a girls name
2. Has to have at least two syllables.
3. Fairly familiar name. No Trytans or Derskees.
4. Can't be a sissy name. I don't know what that means, but Gary said it can't be sissy
5. Not Jimmer.
Thats it. Thats all. So do you have any names or ideas? Please share :)

You've probably aready done this...but I like to look at names that are in the family. I guess I just like that those names have a special meaning to them. And sometimes I just go to babynames.com when I'm bored to browse...Did that help at all? Probably not. Well how about Cosmo, then? Cosmo Woolf has quite the ring to it ;)
Okay ... SO, I just went to the store this morning to buy ... a baby gift for you guys. :) MY GOODNESS! I am not even a mother, and I just wanted to buy everything!!! I spent an hour looking at every little thing! I can't even imagine how excited YOU must be.
Alright, now back to the point ... I kind of like the name Brennon. Maybe it's because I am naming my first boy Landon and those two names kind of rhyme ... or, perhaps it has to do with the fact that one of my missionaries was named Brennon. :)
Here are the names I like but can't use because siblings have already used them (haha): Jackson, Mason, Isaac (the call him Ike), Jordan, Tyler, Derek...just a few :)
Easton, Sawyer, Owen....those are my ideas.
Have you ever looked at www.babynamewizard.com? You can click on NameFinder and put in all sorts of criteria and it will pull up a list based on what you chose. I did it with my last boy (Tanner). My list had my two other boys names listed (Carson & Blake), so I was on the right track with the list.
P.S. I highly agree with #4 on your list. No sissy names to go with the last name Woolf. :)
I was about to say that I love the name Landon but probably won't ever get to use it since Justin has a bunch of family that already used that name...and then I remembered that your husbands name is Landon. So probably not a good suggestion. I'll keep thinking! And I thought it funny that your criteria sounded oddly similar to Justin's.
I'm all about the "in" endings, apparently.
Liam, Ethan, Nolan, Holdon, Jackson, Hudson
I actually really only like two names on this list ... I just wanted to add to the theme of "rhymes with Landon" hehe. That, and I would much rather think of baby names than be studying ... ;)
Becca, I love looking at the Social Security database of names. http://www.ssa.gov/oact/babynames/
It shows name trends for the last several years, it might help. It also will help in avoiding a name that twelve thousand other babies are also given this year.
My grandma says, though, that she doesn't understand this tendency we have now to name babies before they're born. She said she had to meet and hold each of her babies before they could decide on a name. I've thought that was a good point—you want your name to fit your baby. But who am I to talk, I won't have this problem for 15 years.
Thank you all so much for your ideas. I'm joking when I say i've shared every one with Landon and we've talked about every one! :)
David
Brantlee, brody, aiden, hadley, jentry, Devin, Charlie, caden, Keaton, Colton... Those are the 10 I narrowed it down to that I think fit you with and the last name wolf. But please, no peter. :) lol
Bec, I thought of a name... bay o. Then your baby would be bay o woolf....:)!
Good luck with naming him! You'll figure it out. I love traditional names, as you already know. And I like the names to have significance, hence my boys are named after family members (either first or middle name). My list of boys names, if I have any more boys are Matthew, Jacob, Robby, and Michael. I don't care if you use any of those names, but if I have another boy, they most likely will have one of those names. The nontraditional names I like are Austin and Jaden/Jayden. They have a nice ring with Woolf. I just name my kids and I don't worry what anyone else thinks. I just go with what I like and feel fits them. And luckily, John and I seem to agree on most names we like. Your about a month away! Yay! I'm excited to find out what you and Landon decide to name him.
Okay, this is fun...name ideas. Two syllables. Looking over some genealogy on the Klepinger side I see: Walter (hmmm, Walter Woolf),Aaron, Amos, Ancil, Daniel, Ellsworth, Franklin, Galen, Ira, Howard (are you rolling your eyes yet?), Jesse, Newton, Oliver (a direct line ancestor), Ora, Perry, Raymon, Reuben, Rollin, Von Hubert (yes really, Von Hubert Klepinger), Warren, Heinrich, Johann, Ludwig (okay, this is sounding more German all the time). Hey, there's a name, "German Woolf." :) Love, Aunt Terry
I'm just gonna throw this out there because it is my favorite boy name, though it's all I've got for ya right now: Benson. :D It was so good seeing you the other day, you are gorgeous and always so happy!
The Hulk
Frank jr. jr.
Chandler
I just watched this episode of friends so I couldn't resist! :)
What about Tyranny?
I like that name.
So glad I found your blog, Becca!
Love you, and love that you're a mom in the making.
