A Week of Firsts!!!!!!!

•  it was the first time... I made this and this and we loved both
• it was the first time... Jax got his haircut (I gave it to him)
  
• it was the first time... Jax went to the bathroom on his own 
• it was the first time... Jax said amen 
• it was the first time... We had the Hickmans & the Burrows for dinner 
• it was the first time... The kids sat for 25 minutes playing while Tiff & I practiced the organ 
• it was the first time... Jax climbed and went down the slide all by himself, over and over again 
• it was the first time... I had Chick-fli-a twice  
• it was the first time... we went to Pets Mart 
• it was the first time... Jax went to his 18 month Check up-- Weights 28.7 pounds, Is 33.2 inches Tall, and his head  is still huge. 
• it was the first time... Landon turned down Psych to study
• it was the first time... Landon turned down golf to study
• it was the first time... Landon & Jax went on a Daddy-Sons outing at the Church 
• it was the first time... Jax and I went to the Gymnasium. we LOVED it
• it was the first time... I went to a good-bye party for the 4th years :(
• it was the first time...  since December that all the laundry has been complete!!
• it was the first time... we both spoke at a baptism together 
• it was the first time... we ALMOST had breakfast for dinner (seriously first time) but the Hirschi's saved us! Phew! 
• it was the first time... Maddie won 6 Taylor Swift tickets!!!! and gave me one!!! 
• it was the first time... I went to a Taylor Swift concert! I loved it! 
• it was the first time... I RAN 13.1 MILES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A Mini Marathon!!!
• it was the first time... that Landon is already asleep (8:32pm)

18 MONTHS!!!

Our LITTLE BOY is 18 months!!!!

A HUGE mile stone for members of the LDS church because 18 month olds get to go to nursery (it is a place for little kids to learn and sing about Jesus Christ). He did SO well! We walked in, I showed him a puzzle. He watched the 20 other kids running around and I walked out. No tears! I'm so proud of my big boy! 

WE

Went on a long walk around our neighborhood for date night. Which was wonderful! We had the missionaries over. We watched a few Psych episodes last night! We just finished skyping with some of our favorite cousins Adam & Melanie! And... thats all we did this week together because... 

LANDON 

Studied. And studied. And studied. Then he studied some more. But its coming to an end here. Once he is done he will have taken nine exams in 15 school days. Pretty. Crazy.

BECCA 

I re-patched my jeans, made homemade lemon ice cream, & learned how to make homemade bread from the wonderful Ami Bunker!

I went to a Relief Society Retreat Friday/Saturday. It was great and it gave me a lot to reflect on. I felt rejuvenated and almost vulnerable because I was alone with my own thoughts for 18 hours. It was really nice to think. And think about things i'm doing well and things I could do better. 

I also threw a surprise lunch birthday for our wonderful Neighbor Diane! We love her and are going to miss her when she moves. 

JAXSON 

Loves to read books now. Is getting better at letting me change his diaper. We kind of started real disciplining this week based off of this book. It seems to be working so far. Loves balloons, bubbles, balls, blankee, bottle. All B words. Loves Dogs. Is starting to play with the puzzles and cars more. He really is just growing growing up. And i'm loving watching it and experiencing it beside him.

Thats all.

My goal this week is to get all the laundry (clothes, bedding, towels, diapers) DONE for the first time since Christmas. Wish. Me. Luck. :)
