Finding Similarities

This kid. It's crazy how much time we spend together. Twelve hours, everyday. I love him. And I love watching him grow. 

I loved watching the first ever LDS Women's Meeting last night. I felt like the two main points were 1: we have to keep our convenants and 2: we must love one another. 

Life is different for everyone. Everyone has their own joys, circumstances, heartaches, challenges, passions, understandings. But like I was reminded last night, we must look past the differences. We are all Sons and Daughters of God. We are all loved by Him. We have so many more similarities than we think. We just need to find them. 

I love the gospel. I love our families. I love Jaxson. I love Landon. I love life and I'm learning so much. That's all! 

P.S. My favorite weekend of the whole year is coming!!! General Conference weekend!!!! Yay!

A Chill Week

We had such a fun week. It was pretty chill. It involved sleeping in, hanging out every night together, walks, throwing rocks, one shopping trip, March Madness, good food, and a temple trip! 

Landon studied every day for about six hours but then we got him! Jax and I went to a bounce house place, played with a kitty, had movie marathons and played "I got your nose" for hours (he kept eating mine. Rude.) He really is my best buddy. I can now say, "jax let's cuddle" and he will come over and sit right next to me and lean his head on me. It's the best. Still no naps for jax. Which sometimes means he falls asleep in the most random places for about ten minutes. I've actually really enjoyed the no nap life. Lastly, one big highlight this week is Jax got a Spider-Man shirt. He was soooo excited!

Good week. We feel rejuvenated.

Helllllooooo Spring Break!!!

We had a great week. Landon had 4 1/2 tests this week. He says it was only 4, but his 4th test was broken up into two parts. One was Friday morning and one was two + hours Friday afternoon. Sooo 4 1/2 it is! He didnt go to sleep earlier than 12:30 all week. Some nights it was much later. Although, to be honest, one night he watched one of our favorite show's season finale with me ;)!!! The guy has his priorities straight okay?!!!? 

Jax and I went to the park a few times! And to a really fun st. Pattys day playgroup. We ended up on campus one morning and so we decided to visit Landon and see where he spends most of his life. At least there is a lot of light right?? Oh how Landon loves light! 

I had new beginnings this week with my fabulous amazing beautiful young women. The theme was "Diamond in the rough. Come unto Christ and be perfected in Him." It was a great night and I learned a lot. Our young women really are so wonderful!! 

The highlight of the week was of course the weekend! My brother was a bachelor this weekend since wife flew out to her little brothers wedding. We thought it would be fun to have dinner together. Dinner turned into a sleepover, Dairy Queen, Gary & Jacqueline diving down from Chicago, a bounce house, monster golf, orange leaf, Thor, Belgium waffles, steak, creme brûlée, and a late night chat til 2:45am while all the kiddos were sleeping. Let's just say when my family gets together... the possibilities are endless. I love my siblings! 

Happy spring break to us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Life is good! No.... Life. Is. Great!!!!
