Flu, RSV, Double Ear Infection part 2!

 Another rough week.

We shared with our parents all that was going on, and of course, 11am Saturday Morning Papa Woolf was on our doorstep. He brought us lunch, gave us blessings, and then flew back home. Families are awesome!!

Hopefully we are getting better!!

PS got the coolest cake at an auction last night. It’s below. So cool!!

Flu, Pneumonia and a Ruptured Ear Drum

4 flus: luke the brigs then Lando then Jax

Then Luke got an ear infection, landon got pneumonia, Luke’s eardrum ruptured.

Lots of young women’s stuff! Which ended with a great Youth Kick Off.

Stake Conference too. President Cobb talked about Landon and his Misogi.

Here is the text I send to my parents about our boys PTC:

I went to parent teacher conferences yesterday. One teacher LITERALLY CRIED and said “your boys are complete angels. Something about your families devotion allows them to do more than talk the talk, but they walk the walk.”

Luke’s teacher said that Luke pushes his buddies to improve and get the work done, in a way that is well above a first graders maturity. Apparently they all work together to get their math done and teach each other. She said he NEVER bosses people around but if anyone ever does something wrong, he just ignores and leads by example. She also said Luke is on task 100% of the time.

Ty’s teacher said he’s the first kid in a LONG time that has had the natural drawing abilities that Ty has. He said that Ty is a leader in the class and that whenever he speaks, everyone listen because. He is so far ahead in math and Mr Kelly is giving him some late 5th grade material, early 6th grade. He said “if I were to try and show how highly I think of Ty, I put my hand way up here and say ‘Ty this is where you belong.’” (Obviously reaching his hand as high as he could.)

Brigs teacher said that he is constantly sharing and taking care of people that are cold or having a hard time. That he NEVER complains even if it’s 20 degrees(maybe that’s my problem in my home… it’s too hot). I guess she said he’s the only kid that hasn’t had a day when they’ve cried because they are uncomfortable with the weather. Pretty tough kiddo.

Jax has the flu, but I’m sure his teachers love him too 😉

Also as we were walking through the library, the librarian stopped me and said “Your boys check all the boxes. They are kind. They listen. They are engaged. They do what’s right. And oh my gosh they are so pretty!! I could stare at them all day.”

Needless to say, I wish I had PTCs every day. I felt like a literal rockstar walking out of the elementary school 🤣”
