We're done! SURPRISE! Chicago! HAPPY 50!!!

I didn't put this with last weeks post, because we told Lando's mom that he had one more week of tests. That was she would think landon couldn't make it to her 50th birthday party. But we lied. And he & his sister Lace both surprised her tonight. So i'm posting our celebratory weekend of finishing MS1 now. Good job babe. I'm proud of you :)

May 10th-May 11th

Twenty minutes after Lando finished his final, I dropped Jax off at the Hobsons (THANK YOU) and we went to Chicago. John & Marie gave us a one night stay at a Marirott for Christmas (THANK YOU). We had a blast! Quick review.

It was wonderful. 

Our camera died. Sad. Luckily we ran into someone at the temple and they took a picture of us. We also ran into them at the bean the next day. Random, but awesome. Gary let us borrow his Iphone. So not the best pictures, but better than nothing. 

Two week break, then Landon gets back into things. But he will be done every day at 5:00. Done at 5:00, with no study. Ever. For three months. YAY!!! 

Lando vs. Becs & Jax

Landon: 

Studied all week and took three tests. 

VERSES

Becca & Jax: 

Went to the mall 3 times

Went to the park 8 times 

Went to 2 girls nights 

Went to 1 Mother/Daughter dinner (filled in for out of town mom) 

Went to the Zoo 

Had Chick-fil-a 

Watched a movie 

Read some books 

Took some naps 

Went on 5 walks 

Didn't go grocery shopping (sorry babe) 

Didn't do as much cleaning as I should have (sorry again) 

Worked out 5 times 

Yeah. 

I think we win!!! 

I know its mothers day, but Landon we're so grateful for ALL you do!!! And to show our gratitude, we have fun every day :).

 

Indiana Jones.... Check!!

Its official. I've now watched Indiana Jones. 

Landon can now claim me as his wife again. 

Phew. It only took three months.

Landon

 Landon studied all week, and took three tests! He did take a much needed 2 hour break Saturday night. It was good for him. He was also able to take a nap today after church. I think he is ready for another week of finals? Hopefully so :)

Becca 

We tried to keep ourselves busy/distracted from lack of husband and dad by going to the park, practicing the organ, playing with friends, planting grass, watering grass, cheering on our mini friends, going to Josh's birthday party, bond fire, Dennys, stepping on nails, and going to get a tetanus shot. (Boo to the last part)

Jaxson

Jax is so great lately and talks so much. He LOVES animals and their sounds and makes them all the time. To date he can make/mimic/say the following animals: Dog, Rooster, Sheep, Horse, Cow, Octopus, Elephant, Lion, Tiger, Bear, Deer, Mouse, Rabbit, Whale, Seal, Monkey, Bird, Fish, Lizard. (note: some of the animal sounds we make up. A Fox sound is from Fanastic Mr. Fox  and Whale sound is from Dori on Finding Nemo)

I can't wait to take him to the Zoo. He will LOVE it. 

Anyway, thats all. For my sake, look at the picture with the shoe, nail, and foot. That nail went all the way through my shoe and up into my foot and I had to pull it out. Blasted Nail.
