Happy Week

Okay this week was AWESOME!! Jax is all the way better and what a different little boy he's been. We've had a good time this week. Between, reading books, play with trucks, helping mommy cook, kicking the ball, having the missionaries over, play dates, Young Women in Excellence, and of course my family is in TOWN!!! Woot woot.

We went to the BYU Notre Dame game on Saturday. The commentators said, "It was the coldest game in Natre Dame history." For perspective, I bought bottled water right before the game started and by half time, it was frozen. FROZEN. I had 25 pieces of clothing on... and was fairly warm the whole game. It was SO much fun and so sad we lost.

Jax had a blast while we were gone. He played with Sammy all morning and his cousin Hailey & Aunt Sarah all afternoon. He had a blast!!

And here are some happy, happy pictures :).

Sick of...

Being Sick!

Yep another entire week long of groaning, heating up, crying, laying in bed, hurting, and coughing.

Can this be over please?

Becca
I started out the week by running to the store around 7:03am, in my p.j.s, to get stuff to make a celebratory "We're BETTER! Lets have an awesome week." Half way through finishing my cinnamon french toast w/strawberries and whipped cream I heard a scream. Yep. Jax. Excitement shattered. Boooo!! I was sick most of the week after that. I did a few fun things though. Steak  & Shake with Victoria and Elizabeth. Play date with the Haslams. Book club. Young Women's. My favorite part of the whole week though was yesterday after cleaning the church. Finally feeling a little better, and Jax almost all the way better, I got to play the piano for about an hour while Jax quietly played with blocks. It was so rejuvenating and therapeutic.

Lando
ROCKED his first test this week. Then caught, again, what Jax and I had. He took his second test (scores still not released), but i'm sure he did great. He was able to do an EQ Visit night with some of the men in our ward. They dropped a Christmas invitation off to over 120 families. I'm proud of him for all his hard work. After coming home Saturday from my therapeutic outing with Jax, I walked upstairs to Landon studying on our bed (which he never does). The poor guy was so sick. His head hurt so bad and the computer screen wasn't helping. So... I grabbed his books, and computer, and markers, and pens, and sticky notes. Put them in his office. Tucked him in and turned off the light. Hopefully he doesn't fail his test tomorrow because of me :). I put a smiley there, but i'm being pretty serious about it.

Jaxson:
Oy Vey. This guy. Fever, cough, whining, crying. For the last 17 days. Thursday morning after waking up 4 times he finally said, "Mommy. Ear. Owie". Of course! Ear infection. I took him to the Dr. to confirm and sure enough. I would have thought of that earlier, except we had just been to the Doctor. She said that she had cleaned out his ears and "scrapped out" what could have caused an ear infection. So I just crossed that off my list in my mind. But honestly, I was so relieved when the ear infection was confirmed. Because if he was just acting like he was because he had, "Hit his terrible twos" I may or may not have run away. Far, far away. But phew. After one day with the medicine. Different. Child. Yes still the temper tantrum, demanding, screaming, little fellow. But SO much less. Phew!! We really do love him. Almost all the time :).

I hope I can wash my hands of these last 2 1/2 weeks. Haha. Maybe i've found the problem!!

Its actually been really hard and tiring and frustrating and i'm ready for it to be over and for life to go back to normal. Med School is hard enough without all three of us being sick. So POOF be gone sickness.

:).
