What I Do When My Boys Go Camping...

• ...I finish the Laundry to feel productive (while watching Drop Dead Diva) 
• I start the dishes because we have no clean dishes 
• I make Velveeta Mac & Cheese because it saved my life once, and I owed it that much 
• I wrote in my journal because thats my favorite pass time
• I read The Power of Everyday Missionaries because my husband has been begging me to for 4 months
• I drove Scottys car because stick shift cars make me feel whole again 
• I bought a Steak and Shake shake because I felt like I needed to get something to celebrate 
• I changed into my favorite orange pants because they are the best. Mark. My. Words. 
• I cuddled up in bed and watched another Episode of Drop Dead Diva because I heart it 
• I feel asleep at 10:08, horizonally on our bed because I kind of like sleeping alone (once every 5 years or so ;)!) 
• I woke up at 7:30 because Jaxson has scarred my sleeping in life 
• I laid in bed til 9:00 because I could 
• I went on a run because it was the most beautiful morning and because I just had Velveeta and a Shake for dinner the night before 
• I felt so much peace and an overwhelming love from my Savior, Jesus Christ, and my Heavenly Father as I ran
• I then waited by the door until my boys got home because I missed them! And even if my little boy was cranky all Saturday because he didnt fall asleep until 10:30, I'm glad my boys had time together and Im glad I had a little time to reflect myself. 

 We had a really great week. Landon started lots of tests and has them for two more weeks and then his big one in less than 40 days. I was able to go to the temple on Thursday which always brings so much peace and joy into my soul and life. Jax loves his friends so much and wants to be with them every moment of every day. Uncle Scotty is loved around here, particularity by the Jax man who whispers in my ear every morning "Mommy, peeeaassseee. Me wake up Scotty!!" Life is good!

Happy Easter Sunday!! 

What a beautiful morning it has been. We had a good week. We went clothes shopping with uncle Scotty and jax got a few clothes himself! Then we went car shopping with uncle Scotty. Jax didn't manage to convince me to buy him a car though :). He desperately tried. His cute face is so convincing too. But I stood my ground.

Landon studied, played basketball, watched some tv shows with me, went to the gym, and went out with the missionaries a few times. 

Becca played with jax, went and heard an Easter Sunday musical number, went to combined YM/YWS mini missionary activity, watched a few shows, went visiting teaching, deep cleaned the house, went to one of my yws soccer games, went out with the missionaries, and layed out in the sun for an hour while jax played at the little park.

Scotty got a great job at verizon wireless! Got a new car! Got some new clothes!! And is ready for an awesome summer.

We had the missionaries over, went out to eat, watched Friday Night Lights, and went to our friends for dinner! 

Good week. Loving the simple life. And it was all possible #becauseofHim! We have a testimony that our Savior not only died for us, but conquered death and is now living. Because of Him we have family, joy, life, and happiness. Blessed be His name!
