Starting 2015 in Arizona

We've been having so much fun here in sunny (but surprisingly chillier-than-normal) Arizona. I love how much Jax loves his grandma & grandpa and aunt Leah, and... Otis, the dog, of course. There have been many times where Otis couldn't be with us and Jax would say, "But! Otis is my best friend!!" Crazy kid. Doesn't he know his parents don't want animals ;).

Landon:
Has had a good nice break! He has been doing quite a bit of research on different specialties he could do and how the MBA will help him in his medical career. He also started studying for the GMAT. He took a practice test on Friday and did really well. He has three weeks and he is now focusing on getting high enough on the test for a scholarship. He keeps saying, "I'm just numb to standardized tests now." And its soooo true. All he's done the last 3 1/2 years (starting with the MCAT) are take BIG and little standardized tests.
Other than that he's loved catching up with his mom and dad, reading Unbroken, hanging out with his little sister leah, watching movies and sports, and catching up with old friends. I really loved that I married a really hard worker, and I also loved that I married someone who knows how to take a break and just relax. He learned both those qualities from his cute wonderful parents.
Landon has many goals for the New Year, but the one i'll mention here is he wants to be able to do 145 push ups at a time by the end of the this year. This is good for me people, the kid is already super attractive, but i'm sure 145 push ups at a time won't hurt his looks :).

Becca
I've loved having Landon around all the time. Its been a wonderful two weeks and I can't believe we still have so much more. Its going by fast!! I feel like my stomach doubled in size this week, and I'm loving the reminder that I actually am pregnant. I am pregnant. Crazy!!! I feel baby brother kick at night and it almost brings tears to my eyes every time. We've wanted this little baby for so long and I can't believe we are over half done with this pregnancy. WHAT?
Other than that, i've been enjoying cooking while Grandma and Jax play, watching jax love his grandparents so so much, writing good long entries to baby brother in my (new) journal every morning, getting to know some of Landons friends better and just being with Landonios family. We feel so blessed to have two strong, good, happy, helpful families and we love them all and learn from all of them every day!!
My main new years goal is to become less wasteful. So I'm focusing on recycling and donating things instead of just throwing everything I don't want in the garage. ... Ahem... I'm ashamed.

Jaxson
Oh Jax!! He's having the time of his life. Between always being able to wrestle with daddy, or fly with grandpa, or play with grandma he is one happy boy. He is talking better every day and his words become more and more clear.
Today in church right after they blessed the sacrament, I looked at jax and he looked sooo tired. I said, "Are you tired bud?"
"Yeaaaa"
"Why don't you just lay your head on my shoulder and go to sleep."
No joke. We were sitting in the middle section, halfway back, and by the time the bread reached us he was snoring. He proceeded to drool and snore the rest of sacrament meeting. We decided it was a combination of partying hard and maybe getting a little sick so we thought we'd take him home. He slept on Landon's shoulder the whole walk home, he slept while Landon changed him into comfy clothes, and he is still sleeping over two hours later. Its the craziest thing. If we hadn't taken him home today our little BIG boy would have gone to PRIMARY!!!! WHAT??? I can't believe I have a sunbeam! I'm excited for him to go to his sunbeam class back home and i'm excited to watch him learn and grow.
Jax's new years goal is to become the best big brother ever!!

On a sadder and personal note, my dad's brother passed away this week. Twenty days after his mom passed away. The funeral was yesterday. What a blessing it is to KNOW that families can be together forever!! I love you Dad!!

What a great week we had and how blessed we feel! Happy New Year everyone.

This happened on one roll playing twisted farkle. Big moment for me.

Maybe a little bit stockerish of me but we hung out with this cute fam for four hours on Saturday and had so much fun we didn't even think to take a picture, but I had to put something in the place of no pictures taken ;).

 DECEMBER:
My Grandma passed away. We found out we were having a BOY!! And we started out 44 day vacation!!

This was a year of trial, faith and growth. We only had 4 real days of vacation together. Landon was busier than ever and wasn't as happy as we hoped he be at school/work. We did two rounds of infertility treatments that cost an arm & a leg. BUT we ended the year with TWO healthy growing boys and much needed time together and with family. We are grateful for this year and grateful we don't need to repeat it. We know, that God never left our side and that even through the hard times, we are still blessed beyond measure.
