Leah & Lincoln

Landon:
Worked all week. Flew in to Arizona late Friday night for Leah & Lincolns sealing. (It was wonderful to all be in the temple together! I loved what the sealer said about how we have a responsibility to help each other keep our covenants!) Landon flew home tonight to go back to work. Installed a trampoline. Loved being able to get ready in the morning with lights on and the blender running. Poor guy, has learned to do everything in the dark earlier in the morning.

Becca:
Spent the first half of the week getting ready to drive to AZ then drove to AZ. The boys were wonderful! We were so grateful for the Marriott guy named Michael who helped us! Some people can just make a huge difference. I loved Leah's Endowment session and BJs afterwards! I also loved the sealing being all together and Tia Rosas. Man, temple and food is my jam!

Jaxson:
He has been such a big help all weekend. And he loved staying up again for the BYU game. He made a little buddy that is also here for the weekend. He adores his Mummy and Papa Woolf and will be sad to leave. Jaxson is just so much fun right now. A 7 year old is so much fun!

Tyler:
Is obsessed with Hallie. They are such cute little buddies. He can write his name by himself! Oh man i'm just obsessed with Tys voice. I need to record it more. Its the sweetest cutest thing ever. His face, his expressions, his whole self!!!!

Luke:
He is eating solids!!!!! Oh man, thank you Papa Woolf. He continues to be the person and thing that calms my nerves, feels my mind with peace and my heart with joy.

It was a fun weekend with everyone!!! I'm so happy we could all be together for a little bit this weekend. Family is everything!

Love these men. I love that they went and got Sushi together while me and my mom were out of town.

Baby Landon! It was so fun reading all of these babies books.

Oh man it was soooooo good to see Mahyo and her kiddos. I love this girl so much. She is the reason I ran a marathon!

Soccer Season Ends!

Landon:
He DOESNT WORK TOMORROW!!!!! Thats basically all I really want to say about him because it makes Sunday night so less.... sad. BYU won. It was a huge blessing that he was at the VA this week. He got off work on Thursday at 7:20pm and he was suppose to be Jaxson's soccer coach at 7:30pm. He ran in his scrubs from work to the field house a few blocks away and made it just in time! It was SO MUCH FUN coaching Jaxson's soccer team. We just had a blast and I think the parents and kids on the team loved it too. They gave us a beautiful plant and a gift card to cafe rio to say thank you. YES! He also got off early Friday and in time to have dinner with my cousin Russ. PPQ night is our favorite. Then he had the weekend off and we were able to go down and watch my nephew play in his basketball game and then my older brother Johnny took us all out to dinner. Man, when family functions the way God intended it too, it is the most beautiful thing in the world!

Becca:
I had such a better week this week. I was fairly sick, BUT I just think I had a killer Sabbath and was able to take that through the week. I also think I prayed so much this week and asked for help. Really amazing things just keep happening with homeschooling. And its not really in the realm of teaching, but i'm just really excited about it this week. Also, hats off to every mom out there who has home schooled or plans to or is doing it right now. IT. IS. SO. MUCH. WORK. I was able to go to the temple this week with my ministering companion sister. Love Rachel! I spent the day with Sarah on Tuesday. MAN I have the best sister in laws. And Sarah. She is such an example to me. Wednesday we played with the Petersons. Man Elise is incredible. And I was feeling so sick by that point that she even watched my kids for an extra hour so I could go home and rest for a minute. Elise. She is incredible. I love her! We played with the Fetzers multiple times this week and I also just love them too. Anna is one of the most humble good people i've ever known. I've learned SO much from her. Goodness one of my biggest worries is that Jaxson wouldn't have enough social if we home schooled, but i'm getting to the point where I wonder how we will keep up with all of this social. Friday we played with Lace and Hal. Ty and Hal have the cutest cutest relationship and I could just eat those two up! And Lacey, I swear all I do is talk her ear off about my life and she is the best listener. Tonight we had LIZZY over. My young women from Indiana. She's married. I love her husband. It was so wonderful to have them over. AND we ended the week with Audrey and Jared Reese. Oh. My. Goodness. They are 3rd year medical students. And it was so fun to just talk to someone and be with someone in such similar shoes. They are incredible. We talked about 3 things that have helped us have successful marriages in the medical journey. They were so good. I want to remember them:
Audrey said:
1: Family Dinner (6-7 no phones, no computers)
2: FHE (Prayer, Song, Family Schedule, Family Business, Lesson)
3: Tithing/Fast Offerings
Jared said:
4: Supporting each others passions
5: Knowing the right time to bring up stuff
6: Scriptures Study EVERY SINGLE DAY even for 5 minutes
Landon said:
7: Date night every week
8: Having callings in church and magnifying them
9: Division of Labor (Knowing and being okay with each others roles)
I said:
10: Being good at talking about intimacy needs & wants
11: Temple trip at least once a month
12: Learning to be vulnerable with each other
Okay okay, it was a great week. Ive been blessed the most incredible people in my life to help me through this wonderful crazy ride. And I only talked about a few of them.

Jaxson:
I think he is really loving home school. I need to work A LOT on some things, but I think I will just make it through the holidays and then re-evaluate. I love this kid so much. He is in Mosiah 18. He not only reads the scriptures but he actually knows whats going on. He had so many friends to play with this week and loved it and them all. He loves chess club! He scored three goals in his soccer game and is currently working on jingle bells on the piano. He was so happy BYU won. He gave such a sweet talk in primary. Here is a little clip of it. He said it to me and I typed it out and polished it a little bit. So it was a team effort:

I decided that I would read 7 pages of the Book of Mormon every day until the end of the year.
My goal is to finish the book by December 31st. I’ve been marking the many names of the Savior.
I’ve learned some new ones like: The Holy One of Israel, Jesse, Immanuel, the Lord of Hosts.

It’s been hard some days to read 7 pages out loud, but by the end of reading I’ve noticed I’m really happy.
I believe if we read the scriptures every day we will have a good mind and body.
I know that when we follow the prophets counsel we feel happy. In the name of Jesus Christ Amen.

Tyler:
Oh my goodness he was so freaking adorable tonight. We just wanted to keep him up forever. He just loves his family and wants to be with them all the time. We love him so much! He knows T and Y in the alphabet so well. He killed it in soccer this week, he didnt even need me to hold his hand, and I was so proud of him for that. He builds the most incredible legos. He is going to school and loving it so much. He is learning this week that you can't force other people to play exactly how you want them too, you have to be flexible. Its been a hard lesson for him. He was so cute and wanted to go up and sing in the primary program. He mostly just wanted to be by Pierce.

Luke:
Love this angel, blessing, light!!! He only likes yogurt and eats it just a little bit. He can sit up so well. He is basically always happy and calm and chill. And I couldn't do my life without him. HE IS ALSO SLEEPING THROUGH THE NIGHT!!!!!!

okay, it was a ramble tonight. My mind is tired, but my heart is full!

We still have moths. I purchased all new nuts and stored them in air tight containers. And moths kept showing up. Come to find out, they are in our salt containers, baking soda, and CLOSED bags of flour and sugar. Sooo last night I threw a bunch more things out..... we will see..... Stupid moths. I hate my life hahah :).

I was so proud of Tys FHE!!!! The songs were my favorite parts. Legos and suckers were the activity.

Our door wakes Luke up when we open it, BUT I fixed it by putting a towel over the door.

Family trees are amazing to me!

My new favorite drink (other than water). Correction, the ONLY drink I like other than water.

Love Oskar!!!

I actually never took a picture the whole season. We were both so busy coaching and doing subs and helping the kids cheer each other on. But a dad took some pictures with his camera and here are a few of my favorite. Luke was always so amazing to either sleep of just sit patiently during the game and Ty always found was to entertain himself. It was such a fun season! And we are coaching basketball next!

Cute Reese family!!

Indianmeal Moths

Landon:
New rotation! The VA. There are good things about new rotations and hard ones. It feels like starting a new job a little bit every time a rotation changes. Thats stressful. And finding out you are on-call when you didn't know you were only AFTER you've missed multiple phone calls... thats REALLY stressful. It was not the smoothest of starts. Monday was a rough night. Landon sat on the counter for at least an hour, with his knees bent and his arms and head resting on his knees. It all worked out in the end, but thats why starting new rotations can be hard sometimes. They can also be great, I don't mind the change and little differences with each rotation. Though I do miss how his last rotation fed him lunch every day. WHANNN I hate packing lunches. That and cleaning the floors. Landon asked me during our PPQ night what one household chore would I give to a robot that could actually do the chore well. The floors. Clean the floors. And while your ate it, will you pack my husband a lunch :).

Becca:
I had a super duper duper off week. Like just not a good one. I doubted a lot. Got frustrated a lot. Said sorry a lot. I felt tired and overwhelmed and stuck and blah. I think sometimes I forget that I have a baby. Maybe thats why. I don't know. He is only 6 months and man babies are a lot of work. But before I talk about Indianmeal Moths.... I woke up at 5:40am this morning (day light savings). Because of our two bedroom situation there is lots of opportunities for the boys to wake each other up. So the second I heard Luke peep, I went and grabbed him, fed him and then laid him down in the bassinet in my room. Then I snuck out to the family room to be ready for any potential ruckus. It is mostly to stop the big boys from opening our door. Because our door makes a huge noise when it opens and wakes Luke up. BUUUT All four of my boys are still asleep and it is 6:59am. (7:59 yesterday) and I honestly consider that a GIANT HUGE blessing.

Okay, Indinameal Moths. Yeah, our pantry is infested with them. Well was. Well I hope was. Ive been seeing these tiny little moths for weeks. But honestly, i'm so use to having some sort of insect living with us as the seasons change, that I just thought "Well this is a new one." And truthfully we always have new ones, because we've lived in four different homes in 3 difference states and bugs are just different in different places. So i've just learned to deal with our current creature, mouse, spider, box elder bug, ferret, But yesterday after coming home from one of the most beautiful sealings in the SLC Temple, I opened our cupboard and saw 7 or 8 on the ceiling. I annoyingly decided I'd start killing them. And then I kept killing them. I counted every time I killed another one, 36, 37, 38.... Then I noticed one flying out of one of our bags of nuts. Yep. Yep. Yep. Dont keep reading if you don't like reading about infestation. Cocoons, LARVAE, moths, EVERYWHERE. Everywhere. In our nuts, our seeds, our rice. Everywhere. Everywhere. In corners, under cans, in little knocks and crannies. I started ew ew ew ewing. Then started cry cry crying. We just had those nuts in our smoothie this morning. I know. ew ew ew ew!

It reminded me of that one time the night we moved into our first 480 sq/ft apartment and I was cleaning the bathroom. The tiniest bathroom. Where the person that lived there previous was over 300 hundred pounds. We wore googles, and gloves and took turns saying "ew ew ew ew ew EW". Oh the places we've lived. I'm laughing so hard right now. Here is a picture of that little bathroom some 9+ years ago

That was the whole bathroom. You can see the door frame at the bottom left corner of the picture. 5 different wall papers. 4 different molds. 3 feet long. 2 small holes in the floor and 1 bathtub that made you wonder if you were really getting clean. But look at that cute face.

ANYWAY Indianameal moths. Yep. Yep. Yep. I personally killed over 70 moths, over 25 little crawling(yes crawling like a worm) larvae, and over 10 cocoons. And that DOESN'T count the bags and bags full of infestation. Why? Why? WHY? Why do we have Indianmeal Moths. Why? But don't google how Indianameal Moths end up in your pantry. Just don't. Just don't.

So after 4 hours of cleaning our little kitchen. Man I felt grateful I didn't have a giant pantry/kitchen in those moments. And throwing out AT LEAST $50 dollars worth of really good food out, Landon said,  in his drenched in sweat workout clothes because he had just gotten back from a 7 mile run, "So just do you know, i'm not touching you til you take a shower." HAHAHAHAHA. Right back at ya babe.

Indianmeal moths. Been there. Done that. Check.

Oooookay.... (Note its 7:27am or 8:27am yesterday and all 4 boys are still asleep.... God threw me a bone this morning after my week and those moths. I love Him!)

Harry Potter:
He was devastated last night after the BYU loss. Poor kid. Devastated. He said his favorite thing about homeschool is that  we play this Language Arts/Math game that I made up. His least favorite thing is he has to shower every day. He started Chess club this week. Played with Oskar. The fetzers. And had a soccer game. He love Halloween. I told each of the kids i'd give them $10 if they gave me all their candy. Ty was an automatic "Yeah right mom". But Jax said over and over, I can't wait to get my $10. That is, until he got his first piece of candy. The candy won this year. We went to a movie and got j dawgs for Halloween. Which was so fun because we were the only people in the theater. I'd like to say that is the advantage of Home School, but honestly, it was more the movie than it was the time of day. Small Foot. Still fun being with my 3 boys and being the only people in the theater with a giant tub of popcorn.

Batman:
Oh he had an off week too. Toddlers man. The ups and the downs. It ended with him throwing up on temple square while I was in the Sealing. Poor Ty ty. Poor Landon. But man, he just walked out of his room and his bright eyed adorable voice and face.... Oh he's a doll. He is a goof ball. He loves to be the clown and the one that makes every laugh. He has all these crazy funny expressions. He did not want to play in his soccer game. We need to find something he loves doing. Or just wait a little longer to put him in something. I love that every meal is breakfast to him. I love that he calls Luke "yukers". "Mommmmy, I need to make another batman yego. Get the yegos to me. I now know how to get the yegos out on the blanket. It make a big mess. You help me with it mommy." And heaven knows that if I did not respond to that plea right away, then i'd have 4 awake boys instead of just1. He loved being batman with a Harry Potter wand. He's been a little under the whether this week, but its mostly just a residual cough from his sickness last week. He is a cute ball of joy.

Jack Jack:
Only because of his hilarious hair. Luke hit many milestones this week. He is sleeping through the night. Like through it through it. 7-7 or 8-7 or like today 8-5:45 (or 6:45 daylight savings time) and then eat and then keep sleeping. Its currently 7:39. Love my little yukers. He also is sitting up a little by himself. He also is starting to eat food. And when I say starting I meal I have to basically force feed him. He doesn't like anything. He won't swallow anything. He hasn't really gained any weight since his 4 month appointment. Its a work and progress and if anyone has any suggestions, i'm all ears. He is grabbing everything and laughing so much and smiling all the time and rolling and turning everywhere. He's on the verge of more work. The eye of the storm right now. It was really hard for a while, then it gets a little easier, then they start moving and things get crazier until..... well maybe forever ;). This little apartment with 3 moving boys should be fun. But its an apartment void of ferrets, mice, box elder bugs and indianmeal moths. For now. And THAT I am grateful for.

7:44am. 3 of the 4 boys are asleep. Toddlers. They ruin everything!!! :)

Jaxson prepared FHE. And he wanted to sing the song about Ammon. I didn't know this verse existed. Also, we played hide and seek tag at Gilgal gardens. So fun!

He is on Jacob 5!

Luke slept through the night 4 times this week. And we had 3 horrible nights too. Kids these days :). I enjoyed this moment
