I mean, I can't think of two crazier things to pair together in one week.
Lando:
Work is getting crazy. All elective surgeries at the U have been canceled effective immediately. Anesthesia will be some of the first responders to COVID patients. Which is equal parts humbling and a little nerve wracking. I think its probably safe to say that a large percentage of the Anesthesiologists at the U will be some of the first medical staff to get the virus.
His marathon was canceled. And he was so helpful around the house this week. I felt an extreme amount of love from him because of it.
Becs:
I had that brilliant idea to start potty training on Monday. Luckily, luckily, I had kind of already prepared for the coronavirus during the previous weeks. After everything going on in China and then Italy, and watching the news, I made a big trip to Costco and a big Amazon shipment about two weeks ago. So I was able to avoid the crowds this week.
Grateful for Tys teachers Gabby & Ben for having us over on Tuesday. And Angelina last night for doing Pie Night with us. Also grateful for the sweet moment last night where I was studying and praying about all sort of things and I read from Jacob: "Why not speak of the atonement of Christ" Jacob 4:12

Jax:
He is bummed that school is canceled. He played with Alice and Oscar a lot this week. I love those two.
Ty:
He was a good patient buddy during this week of potty training. I loved all the times he helped get Luke chocolate when he peed in the potty. Or wanted to help me and dad cook. I also love that he is still going strong, sleeping in his box.
Luke:
What a week little dude. Everyone else is out their scared of the coronavirus, and you're in here scared to go poop. And honestly, both emotions are valid. But after 7 full days, I feel like we are trending upward to successfully potty trained, again, similar to the virus. But hopefully we don't flatten the success of potty training curve. And just flatten the COVID-19 curve. Don't judge me for mixing these two together. When you spend hours and hours and hours on the bathroom floor, you find lots of connections between the two. :)
