Landon
Back to the real grind. He was on call this weekend and was at the hospital most of it. He accidentally placed a line in the artery instead of a vein and that discouraged him and he felt embarrassed. But that’s what fellowship is for and the patient was okay. His attendings were encouraging and told him they’ve all made the same mistake. Tonight he is pooped and he heads in tomorrow morning at 2am for a heart transplant. But he also made dinner and cleaned up the upstairs while we were all downstairs watching Christmas with the Kranks. We are so blessed to have him.
Becca;
Our heater broke this week and our house got down to 54 degrees and we all piled in one room with one heater and did online school and listened to music all day. I felt like such a mom! I was feeling super exhausted today but then my extended family did a zoom Christmas party and it lifted my spirits!!! We had a good week. Landon was gone most of it and I felt capable and happy, even though, four little boys at home all day long is no joke. But I know that this will be my favorite time I look back on with littles. Littles in Kentucky. If I could just get my back feeling better that would be great.
Jax & Ty
They finished online school and have become best friends. They giggle and grille together all the day long. Jax keeps talking about sports and Ty keeps puzzling. Jax almost beat Landon in horse and Ty cheered so loud for Jax to win. Then there were tears. Honestly, there may have been tears either way.
Luke:
He’s been the cutest most lovable little dude. We Wish You a Merry Christmas, Carol of the Bells (“Ding Dong song”), and Jingle Bells are his jam. He also loves reading the "find the picture Christmas tree book."
Luke:
He is having poop problems. I’ve been off dairy for two weeks and it’s still bloody and green and mucosy. He often spits up what I feed him too. But his brothers absolutely adore him and he has made this time pure Heaven.
Ps; we gave a garbage truck man, whose truck broke down, hot cocoa and lunch
Pps; My friend Tiff sent me a week worth of meals, and grandparents have sent presents, and church members have dropped off things, and I’m continually amazed at how small this big world feels. Also, if someone sent us a BYU Jenga and it wasn't suppose to be anonymous, let me know because we love it. Thank you!
