A Coral Piano & Boston

We started the week off by painting our piano! And Avie Rae Randall was born!!

Now….

Landon and I are in Boston! He runs tomorrow!!! I’m so proud of him. We’ve walked the freedom trail, gone to a Red Sox game, Quincy Market, Boston Common, Harvard, MIT, Boston Childrens Hostial, Cape Cod, the Boston Marathon Expo, holocaust monument, church, and had so much, so much delicious food.

I’ve been completely humbled by the way our kids are being taken care of while we are gone! At one point Lindi and Nate were sending me pictures of Ty at the art museum to see his work. Emily Peterson was telling me how responsible Jax was getting to the camp out. Annie was watching Lukie play soccer while Maren was playing with Brigs. Not to mention the Harwoods and Fague’s and just all these people. Ty scored four goals and DID HAVE HE ART DISPLAYED IN AN ART GALLERY DOWNTOWN. Jaxson went on his first deacon Campout and when they told the kids that the 16 year olds and young could bike back to the camp site. He asked if he could go with the 17 year olds to make it 20 miles. They said yes! He kept up! Briggy at food and slept in. Luke has been saying things like “I share because Jesus told me to.” I just love them so much!!

Go lando tomorrow!!!!!! I’m so proud of him  :).

Spring Break 2023

 What a fun week!!!!!

The boys played all day on Monday with the Fagues
Tuesday the Pickets came over for tea and lunch and we just chatted for hours
Wednesday & Thursday we went skiing
Wednesday night was movie night with Ditto girls, and Landon took the boys to a movie
Thursday night we went to a Maundy Service with the Marcusens and we plan to do that yearly
Friday I tumbled down every single step in our flight of stairs. It is literally a miracle nothing broke.

Then I went to Utah.

Me:
In Utah I had dinner with my parents and then hung out with Lace and Cory Friday night. Saturday we busted out a nursery wall. Gosh I love doing projects with Lacey and hanging out with them. Its official we will make this a yearly tradition and I will never regret the time spent with Lace. The baby is one lucky baby to be going to the Wennerholms! Gary picked me up this morning , we saw his house and then I flew home. Today was beautiful and crazy.
I made sure to ponder Jesus and read about him on the plane because I knew I wouldn't be able to afterwards. Scripture study with the boys. Prepping for linger longer and Easter dinner. Church, linger longer, clean up, hosting Easter, chatting with the best neighbors ever, clean up! BUT I DONT KNOW HOW I EVEN DO THIS WEEKEND WITHOUT....

Lando & the boys:
Once I went to Utah they:
Went to costco to buy some necessities and some rocking chairs for the front porch.
Set up the rocking chairs
Put all the costco food away
Jax babysat while Lando had a work thing
Watched Maverick
Cleaned
Bought mitts and soccer cleats
Put up mixtiles
Played together
Cleaned some more
Did all of the laundry
Yard work
Played Sock Baseball
Stuffing Easter Eggs
Making Biscuits and Gravy for the linger longer

AND Landon had breakfast for me this morning when he picked me up from the airport.

When I told my mom all that he did this weekend she said, "If I were you, i'd go out of town more often!"

Spring Break was happy! Ready to get back at it

Home

What an amazing adventure. What a smooth transition home. Back to sports and chores and school and church and friends and family and all the really good things. Especially General Conference and Waffles. Prayers. Scriptures. Jesus.

Life is good!

Happy Holy Week
