School started.
Jaxson LOVES his Spanish class and English class and Math class. He is super excited for cross country to start this week. He is such a good kid and hard worker. A mom told me this week that “Jax is like, too school for school, isn’t he.” And my mama bear came out and was like “just because he is super darling! Mega smart! And really athletic. Doesn’t also mean he has a heart of gold, he is super helpful, very kind and pleasant and obedient!!! Don’t judge a book by its cover.” Which is what adults do with Jaxson ALL the time. It’s fine though, they are wrong. And we know who he is!!! He’s going to move mountains. And until then, he is helping himself, and all of us, try to be better. Like Ty won’t play on Sunday because Jax won’t.
Tyler has been awesome this week as things haven’t gone his way. All his friends are in a different class. He didn’t get the teacher he wanted. He didn’t get the Tesera day he wanted. And he just rolled with it and had a good attitude. Ty is my kiddo who is going to ask the deepest spiritual questions and just want to understand it. I think it will frustrate him sometimes, and will scare him because questions and doubts can do that sometimes, I’ve been blown away at what his little soul already just knows and accepts. That kind of his is going to be one of his greatest assets for good!!! I will be anxiously waiting to see what he does with his life, every step of the way!! Also, his ability to get on people’s levels. Amazing. His brothers are so lucky to have that.
Luke has been beaming all week. The people he is able to serve and the friends he is able to reconnect with has filled him with so much energy. I especially love watching him love on Brigham. How does he have as much patience with Brigham as he does. But Luke does. I also love that Luke just loves to belt the Sunday songs. In church and in the bathroom. His giggles and laughs on the tube with his brothers is amazing. I mean, he really is able to keep up with them. Luke is going to lead the masses. With his love for people and love for God and good and his LIGHT. I just know it!!
Brigham. I told someone today, “every single person that knows Brigham, is obsessed with Brigham.” It’s true. Everyone flocks to him. I am still seeing some of Briggys qualities. I think he’s going to be a lot like Ty and Luke. But I think it’s a pretty impressive to be able to bite, scratch, scream, call names and throw things and still captivate every person in your world. Hopefully one day, those behaviors will disappear. But what I don’t think will disappear is Brighams ability to diffuse, and unite the people in his circle. And it will never ever be a dull moment when you’re with Brigs.
This week was hard for me. I hate the week before my period. It’s the worst!! But we are passed that. And I hope I said my apologies :). Landon and I had an awesome boat evening with our cute boys. It felt like heaven. And then a date night. Always dating that guy.
