Landon:
I keep forgetting that he worked this week, because me and the boys were at the Edwards family reunion. It was a nice break from the long days without him. He was able to make it to some of the reunion since it was only 40 minutes away. We loved that! He is heart broken about BYU football right now. But really. Thats not a joke. This season.....
He took me on an awesome date night last night. We went to smash burger and then we went and bought me a winter coat since i've managed to get through all of Indiana and Spokane without one. This year all that changes. Speaking of winter, the heater is broken in our church, so it just runs constantly. Its probably 85 degrees in the primary room and has been for a few weeks. So during primary Landon went home and grabbed a few fans and a screw driver to figure out how to open the windows at least. He saved the day. Then he ended the night as super hero to his boys. Tackling, wrestling, playing, reading, hugging and kissing.
Becca:
I had a great time with my family this week. I love them. We took a couple of girls to church with us this week. One of them is in our primary class and she has a younger sister Jaxson's age. Trying to keep 4 kids quiet during sacrament and then well behaved through primary... we were so happy to bring them! And grateful their mom let us! Church is so much better when you go in trying to serve instead of going in for yourself. I guess thats true about life all around.
Jaxson:
He loved playing with cousins all week. Its so fun because he gets along so so so well with all of his cousins and we don't really have to do anything to help them play well. They just play well. Its really happy. He's so excited about his birthday this week. We have to keep reminding ourselves that jax is a sensitive little dude and he has big emotions. We keep trying to remember to connect with him on those big emotional moments instead of stifling him. I'm not even close to perfect at that. But it helps when that big emotion filled heart does things like cleans up the whole house then makes and gives me a heart to tell me how much he loves me. Whatever dude, let that big heart of yours take over.
Ty:
Oh my gosh ty. You were absolutely exhausting today. My eyes are blood shot and heavy because of you. You dumped three boxes of cereal on the ground. You dumped the legos on the ground at least 4 times. When we tried to discipline you, you retaliated by throwing what ever was near you(glass of water, plate, food, truck, fork, dinner, etc), towards whoever was near you (poor jax). I think we cleaned up at least 27.5 spills TODAY. The .5 was me catching a fork, mid air, that was aimed directly for daddy. So many spills, so many time outs. And then.... and then we ask you to say the prayer and you fold your arms, bow your head and say, without any help or additional prompting, "Heavenly Father, thank you for food, Nana, Popsie, Hailey, Hazel, Harper, and Erika..... Amen." And I roll my eyes and say, "well played little dude. well played."
