Two Moments from this week:

IN A MATTER OF SECONDS:

This year ended with a moment that could have gone 100 different ways. It was a moment that reminded me just how present God is in my life, in my families life, in all of our lives. I took this picture:

And 3 seconds later Jax blocked my shot, bumped Ty who bumped Luke who fell:

I continue to replay this scene over and over and over in my head. I can see Luke stuck surrounded by glass. How did he not get one scratch? How was there no blood? How did the flimsy screen hold him? What if it hadn't? He would have smashed into concrete. It was an incredible moment of truth. God is in our lives. He does do "great things" and I experienced one this week. And even though he doesn't stop all bad things from happening, I'm going to focus on THE GREAT THINGS the does do for me his year.

DATE NIGHT
Also, I'll post most pictures next week, but last night we served dinner to the homeless with Jamie & Jon Curtis, it was amazing and I just love them forever.

Christmas 2019

This Christmas was one I will never forget. It was for sure one of the most magical Christmas' for our family and me personally. We thought it was going to be a simple Christmas, and in so many ways it was. But by the end of Christmas day our home was filled with gifts, letters, food, love and the spirit. I just cried tears of joy. It was this overwhelming feeling of immense gratitude and humility, in fact the next morning we woke up and said a long family prayer for all of our blessings from Jesus to secret santas to christmas cash to the Cinnamon rolls mummy made for us, we were grateful for it all. I am still  so blown away by the blessings of love, service, and gifts from so many people. I also felt so much closer to Christ as I have studied the New Testament this year--he is ever present and hid birth has made my little life so beautiful.

So many tears every time I watch this movie

This is what we collectively got our little family. Plus 2 bikes for Jax & Ty

And this is what people collectively got us. I cried all night as I just started at this stuff from the couch. It wasn't the stuff as much as the feeling of love from so many that I was touched by. I'll never forget this.
