Just Life

Lando:
Had some sad cases that hit home. Worked long hours. This week before his call week can sometimes be the worst. And sometimes call can be rough. And occasionally both can be rough. Thats when I cry. But this week wasn't that bad. He signed up for a 50 miler. Is reading a book called, "The Fish That Ate the Whale." Thats the main one he's reading. The Durrants came over on Monday and watched the reallllly boring National Championship. So we played Skull Kings instead. That was fun! Oh and on Tuesday we went to his colleagues house for dinner. MJ and her family are just the bomb. I don't know why we don't have a picture of any of these things.

Becs:
I did some yoga/meditation this week. I actually had a really heavy Relief Society week. On Friday night, Landon got home at 9:30 and I was like, "BABE! I didn't have one RS phone call today." But I honestly am honored and amazed to be apart of peoples stories. Mostly just as a front row seat spectator. God was good to put impressions and thoughts and words into my mouth this week. I have been slowly and steadily and surely be trying to know God and deepen my testimony. I had a really impactful moment at the Stake Leadership Meeting where I KNEW without a doubt that the spirit was working with me. I felt humbled by it. I felt anxious that I wouldn't catch all that was trying to be conveyed. AND I didn't want it to end. But it did. I had a tea party with Katalyn, and I love her so much! I picked Annie up from the airport and went to Lindi's race--which was so fun to see. AND then we went out to eat with the Cobbs and Marcusens Saturday night.

Jaxson:
He babysat all of the boys, including himself from 3:30-11:00 last night. He is so dang responsible. I can't get over it. He has loved being in Young Mens. Going to youth activities and playing in Deacons ball. Oh and on Sunday he dutifully took out all the garbages in the church. On his own. Well, I didn't have to ask him to do anything. And that was cool. He feels some ownership now, and its fun to watch him grab it and also fun to not have to be the only teacher in his life. Jax was bummed the Zags lost but had fun watching that game with his bestie.

Tyler:
He was stoked to go to activity days. And he loved going to 8 is great. He DID NOT want to be late to his first activity and announced and hour before it started, "We should go now mom, just in case it starts early." He also wasn't happy with me when I showed up 7 minutes early.

Luke:
I love how at church Luke is anxious to just go sit with someone. Today he say with a 54 year old single lady during stake conference. He has been playing puppy dog lately and has walked around the house chasing briggy. Man he loves Brigs so much.

Brigs:
Has been picking up a LOT of words in the last week. I bet he says 10 more words just this week. He is seriously a doll and especially when its just me and him while the rest of the boys are at school, he just works with me and follows me around the house and is happy doing whatever i'm doing. I will miss these days with him.

Going skiing tomorrow. So i'm signing off. I know I missed so many moments of these kids life each week. But hopefully I capture some of it.

Our friend Kelly Ditto went down to Utah and filmed my moms latest song. It is going to be EPIC. But I was feeling sad on Friday night that I wasn't in that room with some of my favorite people. My Savior is going to be a good one. For the world.

This week was really awesome. Jax was ordained. He went to the temple. We went to two baptisms. Ty wrote the sweetest note ever to someone that was baptized. Today, as most Sundays are, was crazy. Ministering interviews, meetings, visits, teaching, baptisms, 8 is great, etc. etc. Annie took Luke and made cookies with him and then made dinner for my family. And I just, sometimes when you don't live by family, you are grateful people take you in as family.

It was a really great week. Family time. Skiing. LOTS of basketball and work and life.

Oh and study group. I started a New Testament Study Group and it was AWESOME!

Oh and Dave took Luke Skiing so Kyla and I could go on a few runs. Gorgeous. I love the Fagues.

Oh and Alyssa. And Katelyn. Who are always cheering me on. I love them so much.
