The Enchantments.

I wish I could share everything that happened this week. But a lot of it feels too sacred to share on this platform. I spent the week getting ready to take my young women to the Enchantments. It was the hardest thing any of them ever did. And one of the most daunting things i've ever done. 

It rained for 14 of the 20 miles. 

We didn't get to see how enchanting The Enchantments were. 

We hiked for 18 hours. (Basically a mile an hour) 

There were so many surrendered tears. 

I felt the weight of the world on my shoulders as I realized that my plan were putting 10 sweet wonderful girls through a lot of pain and suffering. But then I realized the isn't that far off from God's plan. 

I love my young women. I love the leaders I get to work with. 

But even more than that I love Landon and my boys for supporting me in all of this. Whew. They are amazing!

Comes and Goes

Summer weeks man, they just come and go so fast! 

 It feels like summer is even crazier than the school year. Which is crazy because the school year is crazy. This was certainly our calmest week though. Other than the fact that Landon was crazzzzzy busy at work. We were all home. 

Jax has a fun friend group that he gets together with a couple of times a week.

Ty had a soccer tournament this weekend and he played so well! Gosh he is good!! 

Luke always loves when we go boating

And I promised brigs we could take him to the trampoline park this week. And we did. And he was so happy about it! 

I spent my week doing high adventure stuff and soccer manager stuff and mothering stuff and young women’s stuff. Sometimes it feels like I have a job but I really don’t

Boated

Monday: Boated and picked up the boat 

Tuesday: Boated and set up camp 

Wednesday: Boated and joined our friends 

Thursday: Boated and survived crazy storm 

Friday: Boated and packed up 

Saturday: Boated and went to Andy Grammer 

Sunday: NO BOATING. But worshipped 

We had the best time at priest lake! And we just loved hanging out with the Picketts and Dittos and college kiddos. We also just love hanging out as a family. Seriously, we are basically the best! BOATING is so much fun! I love it so much. Take me back!!
