The title pretty much sums it up. General surgery was hard and Landon didn't love it. Neither did I. But it's over now. Phew!!
We spent our weekend just the two of us in St. Louis. I needed it so badly, and Landon needed it even more. He's been working around the clock non stop for far too long.
We are grateful to our friends and family for all their help the last couple of months and we hope the next few rotations will be a little more normal. 7:00-6:00 sounds amazing. Plus studying, always studying. But still, I'll love that he's next to me in bed more than half the night again :).
