Summer 2022: Camp Week

This week the boys all had camps. They were just in the morning.

Jaxson--Basketball Camp
Tyler--Soccer Camp
Luke--Water Camp
Brigsy--Mommy Camp

Jaxson was so sweet each morning that I dropped them off: "Mom will you make sure you do something fun while we are gone." How tender. I mostly just cleaned and recovered from the last month. But one morning I started the Docuseries LuLu Rich. OH MY GOODNESS. I was so sick to my stomach watching it. Horrible. Fascinating. Crazy.

On Sunday we had a family council and everyone was pretty grumpy and exhausted. Jaxson broke down and said he missed just being our family. Ty agreed. So we decided each person got a day.

Monday: Becca-Green Bluff Peaches (Did not work out)
Tuesday: Luke-Library
Wednesday: Jaxson-Lightyear
Thursday: Tyler-Swimming with the Condons (We LOVE them)
Friday: Landon-Burgers and Ice Cream

I was still feeling pretty overwhelmed by Wednesday and then at dinner Landon told mer he took a provisional day for Thursday. I cried. We worked so much on Thursday and got things done. Then the kids and I worked 6 straight hours on Friday to get the house in tip top condition. Don't worry its already a disaster again.

And then Saturday was EPIC. We went boating with the MJ & Pete and their kiddos. Then we rushed home, got ready for date night in 30 minutes and went to dinner and a movie with the Cobbs & Dittos.

Sunday was a beautiful day at church. I love everyone. And then my presidency and I switched up ministering big time. And it only took an hour. And then I made peach pies and we went to the Grahams to have dinner with them and the Petersons.

Spokane. You have our heart! We LOVE YOUR PEOPLE!!!!! And your lakes.

Summer 2022: Erika & Logan Week 2

Nothing made me so honored and happy as to have Logan and Erika for a second week. I had the best time with them. And Ruthie. Stop. Those three have my whole heart.

Monday: Erika & Ruthie went to Sandpoint & while Ruthie hung out with us & I caught up on life. Landon set up at Deacons Camp

Tuesday: We went to Greenbluff and then Landon was home that night. Logan helped Landon give a blessing and they went on a run. I went to a RS meeting. Erika watched all the kiddos. When I got home everyone was gone and I was sad.

Wednesday: I did some cleaning. Logan and Erika and Ruthie went downtown. I mowed the lawn. If you know you know. Then the four adults went golfing and made peach pie.

Thursday:
Last full day. Cry my heart out. We went to Manito. Then played with water outside. Then Luna, Paddle Boarding and Nate Bargatze

Friday:
Saddness.

Saturday:
We picked up Jax from camp. He had the best week of his life.  J and Jax talked for an hour and 15 minutes straight. I LOVE THE FAUGES. So much. Went and swam at the Condons. Oh man, they are such an amazing family. And then Date Night. Watched Dave rock out in the band.

Sunday:
So many church meetings. Landon held the fort down here. Also, Joanna, Katelyn, Alyssa, all took time to see how I was doing. I just love them for that. And Steph Breckon brought food over one night this week. It takes a village y'all. And this Spokane Village is incredible. We had a new family on our street over for dinner tonight. The Packards. They are from Canada and they are Catholic and I want to be just like them!

I'm sure I missed something but Landon and I are going for a Walk. Ta-Ta
