Woolf Roadtrip, Week 1

We started our 4 week long road trip through the west since we are literally homeless for the next month.

First of all, shout out to Papa Woolf & Leah for helping us driving across the country. Thank you! Sunday night we made it to Spokane after 37 hours in the car in just 3 short days. We unloaded our Uhaul into a storage unit and went and got some cafe rio. YAY!!!!

Monday we took Papa & Leah to the airport, enrolled Jax into preschool, did some laundry, then drove 2 hours to the Hobsons. Tiff is one of my best friends and I absolutely could not have done medical school without her or her kids, who Jax adores!! I love her and most days I want to be just like her. I don't know if she will ever know how much she means to me or how much she has changed/helped me over the year. They were wonderful hosts and we had a blast. We will get the boys back on aggravation next time we get together.... which will be soon :).

Wednesday morning we woke up. Thought about driving to Yellowstone as planned.... but it was snowing. And camping in the snow, no. So instead we drove 11 hours to Utah. Our boys are amazing. Oh and we saw Shoshone falls! Beautiful.

Thursday we went to my nephews dance festival at Wasatch Elementary. It made my heart so happy. I loved that school and still remembers its song, "Best school in the land" people. We enjoyed my moms new patio and then Landon and I went on a date to Sam Hawk of course. Thank you Sam Hawk for making us so happy every time we visit you.

Friday we hiked to Timp Cave, so fun. Then we watched some NBA basketball. Oh and Jax threw up 7 times and my dad got super sick. Saturday we hung out with cousins and family and watching NBA Basketball. Oh pretty sure Ty had an ear infection. Not our best days. But Timp was fun.

Sunday we had our wonderful friends, the Haslams, come have breakfast with us. Bre called me as her counselor in the YWs 3 1/2 years ago and we instantly clicked. It was like we were long lost besties. We would have been the best mission companions ever. I love her to the moon and back. Jax and Sammy began a beautiful friendship before they moved from Indy two years ago. I'm so happy the Haslams will be our friends forever!!

Then we went and had dinner at Lacey and Corys house tonight. We love them and Hallie and their home and being with them. They are just the best. Jax is obsessed with Hallie, as are we.

Also this week Landon has gone golfing with my brothers Thursday, Friday and Saturday morning. ANNNND.... Nate & Sarah and Johnny & Marie are amazing and kind and generous. And they decided to get Landon clubs for his graduation. I wasn't there when Nate gave them to Landon but Nate text me and said Landon said, "I love these more than Becca." It looks like I have some serious competition.

This kind of homeless thing, its going to be an adventure.
