Wow.
Jax had his tournament in Kentucky. It was good. I don’t know the best way to explain it, but basketball and travel is always a double edged sword for me. We got back at 1am on Thursday morning.
I headed up to girls camp Thursday morning. It was good. I ended up walking in to a somewhat tricky situation. I thought I handled it well. And I’m grateful everyone was safe.
I want to remember Friday. But I can’t explain in detail what happened. But by 1:30pm I was sobbing behind my mini van, trying to catch my breath and go out and finish girls camp. And show love to all my girls. I was completely crushed. But wait there is more. I then had a 7 hour car drive to Mount Adams with my young women! Got there at midnight!
We got up at 3am to hike mt Adams. Man that’s the hardest hike I’ve ever done!!! But all my young women did it and I’m proud of them. So proud.
And then home by 1am Sunday morning, meetings all day and dinner with the Dittos and the in laws.
I’m so grateful for safety, I’m so grateful for strong minds and bodies, I’m so grateful for God, I’m so grateful for friends and family, I’m so grateful for Landon. I’m so grateful for Addie. I’m so grateful for my in laws! Grateful for Bishop. Grateful for my young women. Grateful for my mom’s song, Jesus is a God of Miracles. Cause he is and I felt it this week!
Landon did a high adventure with his priests all week! They hiked enchantments. They biked down a mountain, they paddled boarded and then we did My Adams with them. He is an incredible leader and I’m just so grateful for him!
Jax had high adventure himself once we got back. He rafted with his teachers. From what I understand—he’s the glue of his group and once he’s there everyone has a buddy! I think he’s a rock star! Also I’m proud of his basketball play!
Ty and Brigs and Luke held down the fort and played and worked and had a great time with Mummy, Papa and Addie.
Im really really really grateful that week is over. It was harder than I ever could have imagined!
