We built an Igloo. Spokane experiences its worst winter in 130 years. I fall in love with minimalism even more. I start treatments to get pregnant with baby #3.
February:
So much snow. Landon has a week off and we do a little staycation while our kiddos go to the Hobsons. Landon's parents come a visit! Round #2 of infertility treatment. Jax goes skiing for the first time.
March:
Round #3. I fall into a pretty deep depression. Ty decides he wants to start potty training. I drive to Utah to help Scotty pick out a wedding ring for Jen!
April:
Landon flies out to Utah for general conference weekend. Landon ran his first marathon. I finally get in to a counselor. We also go to Seattle for a quick 48 hour trip.
May:
Spokane gets above 65 degrees. Ty turns two. Jax finishes preschool. We go to Vancouver and Lewiston for Landon's last week off. I give a presentation on Kon Mari to the Relief Society.
June:
A ferret!
Paris with the girls.
Chicago for Jacqueline's residency graduation.
Little Copelin Wennerholm is born.
Landon finishes intern year.
Jax runs in his first race.
Scotty & Jen get married in Arizona.
We go to Glacier National Park in Montana.
Say goodbye to Spokane.
Then move to Salt Lake City.
July:
We begin the slow process of moving in #couchless. Jax runs another race and I run a half marathon. Landon starts Anesthesia Residency at the U. We start exploring the great Salt Lake City. We hire the wonderful Greta to help with weekly date nights and temple trips!
August:
We spend Landon's first week off with his family in Park City. We go on lots of hikes. We get our couch! Jax starts kindergarten and he also runs in his first 5k without stopping. Landon & I celebrate 8 years!
September:
Landon, Gary & I run in a half marathon. Landon PRs. We settle into our new life in SLC. I take my very favorite photo of my boys.
October:
Edwards family reunion. Jax turns 6! We tell our family that we are pregnant with baby #3 by sending them the picture below:
November:
Leah & Lincoln get married. Our car is stolen. Ty throws up 23 times. We go to Moab for the weekend. We find out we are having ANOTHER BOY!!!!
December:
Landon has his busiest month of residency yet. Between that and the stolen car we were grateful to see December come to a close. Even with the craziness we still did have lots of magical moments during the month!
It really was a great year filled with lots of blessings, lots of travel, lots of ups and lots of downs.
We currently love our home here in SLC and we love Landon's program at the U. And with all the wonderful things that happened this year, its no secret that the thing we are most grateful for is getting pregnant with another little baby boy.

This weeks update really quickly (hopefully), because i've now just spent the last 6 hours fixing the pictures from previous reviews that were lost and doing this one. I do love keeping this little journal of ours. However, Landon said to the boys "Mom may finish blogging by 2018..." AHHHHH
We loved Christmas even though Landon had to go into work.
Our stolen/found car has seriously been a nightmare. The cops found it the day before Gieco was ready to pay us for the car. I've now cleaned it all out (drugs + cigarettes +stuff), but it still smells so bad--yes even after a $200 detail from supersonic. So we can't drive it and we also can't sell it. Grrrrr. Nightmare.
Landon loves me so much he took me to get Indian food after a week of dealing with the car.
We've just been relaxing all day together today. But its seriously time for me to go :). Tata 2017. You've been great to us!!!!!!
