UTAH + Hoopfest

UTAH!!! Cousin TIME! BYU Basketball camp. LAGOON!!! Sooooo many fires. Sad. We had a great time. Jax had the game winner in the championship game at the Marriott, plus he got MVP. My boys freaking LOVED Lagoon. Even briggy is going to be a rollercoaster junkie with me. We saw everyone in the family but Cory, Josh and Jacqueline. So much driving. So much fun. 

Then TY crushed it in hoopfest. And Jax crushed it in reffing. Though got yelled at some. Silly 3rd grade girls parents haha. I took the YW to the temple and went on an 8 mile run with HAles. SO MANY THINGS. 

Off to another week. MUWAHH! 

 

Awarded & Adventured

What an epic week!! 

Monday:

I spent the whole day at Silverwood with Ty and his school. Ty is a rollercoaster lover too!!! Yes! Then we went to Jaxson’s basketball game 

Tuesday:

We went to Jaxson’s graduation! Where he got TWO big awards. Athlete of the year AND The Eleanor Chase Award. I was so so proud of him in that moment. 

Wednesday:

I sent Ty, Luke and Brigs with the Olsen’s. Jax went and cleaned cars all day! I prepped for High Adventure. Landon and I went to Jaxson’s game and then the three of us went and got sushi! 

Thursday:

Took 16 young women and 7 leaders on a seamless high adventure :). Seriously, the only hiccup is Bishop lost is GoPro 360 to the rapids. Which is crazy, cause 6 months ago he lost it to the Costa Ricans. But I Digress! 

We did Hiawatha this day! Biked through 2 miles of dark tunnel and talked about seeking Him, finding light and being the light. Our Devotionals at night were awesome. Bishop brought all his camera lights and the girls made some awesome pictures! 

Friday:

We rafted! It was epic. The girls loved it and some of them really faced their fears. Lots of jumping and swimming and cold plunging. We played games and ate chilli dogs! Our devotional was finding secular songs that talk about surrendering and singing them! Then considering what we can surrender to Christ this summer! 

Saturday:

We talked about STRIVING to be like Him. And then we biked 20 miles of CDA. Ate some ice cream. Swam in the lake. The girls buns were SORE! And I was proud of all of them. 

I feel incredibly grateful for these girls. I love them. So much. I’m glad I can have a tiny taste of what it would be like to have a daughter. Those mamas are lucky ones! And I love our leaders!!! Such an inspiring group of leaders. Loved having Jacob! Hes the man. 

 It was just such a great High Adventure! 

Father’s Day! 

Kissed Landon 😘. Went to church. Then Jax and I drove to Utah. And it was probably not the safest drive of our life. I was SOOOOO tired!
